About the Breast Implant Follow-up Study (BIFS)

BIFS is an important research study. As a participant in BIFS, you agree to complete a questionnaire once a year. By fulfilling that commitment, you and the other 2,700 women who are a part of the BIFS community are contributing to the health and safety of all women with breast implants.

BIFS Study Updates
Study updates are posted below to keep you up-to-date about any new information that develops during the course of this research, such as any changes to the study protocol or ways we can help make your participation even easier.
New, increased compensation for completion of Baseline Questionnaire and Annual Questionnaire
Participants who complete their Baseline Questionnaire will be compensated $275. Participants who complete their Annual Questionnaire will be compensated $275, annually.
In-person visits are no longer required
Participation in BIFS now only requires the completion of an Annual Questionnaire.
New, increased compensation for completion of the Annual Questionnaire
Participants who complete their Annual Questionnaire will be compensated $100.
